Solutions for Smallworld Users
FME's spatial ETL platform has long enabled users to move data in and out of GE Smallworld GIS. Many Smallworld customers also benefit from the ability to extend the format reach of the Smallworld Spatial Object Manager.
With FME, Smallworld users can take advantage of two solutions:
FME Desktop for Smallworld
FME Desktop for Smallworld is a spatial ETL toolset that makes it easy for you to easily move data in and out of a Smallworld GIS. Use it to convert and load data from over 200 formats into Smallworld 3.x or 4.x VMDS, as well as to restructure data for exporting into the precise formats and data models requested by CAD and GIS users across your organization. You can also use FME to validate and migrate data from legacy systems into Smallworld. Plus, for Smallworld SOM users, FME also integrates directly with the SOM to extend its format reach, eliminating the need to translate the data beforehand.
